Te Wāhi Toi/The Arts Place exists to connect the creative community of Queenstown and Wānaka with audiences, students, teachers, spaces and each other. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and inspired by local arts and culture.
Participants will sing and explore joyful, feel-good music through a mash-up of Proud Mary and Price Tag, followed by a three-part arrangement of Like a Prayer. The focus will be on blending our voices and experiencing the power of harmony in a supportive, inclusive space. No experience necessary.
About the facilitator: Natasha Wilson is a singer, vocal coach, musical director, and the founder of In Harmony, a Queenstown-based community music initiative. She works with singers of all ages and abilities, specialising in confidence-building, vocal technique, and group singing. Natasha leads choirs, workshops, and one-day singing events, and is passionate about creating welcoming spaces where people can connect through music, regardless of experience.
About Community Sing: Community Sing is an open, drop-in choir for everyone in the community. It's free and open to all! No registration required.
