Te Wāhi Toi/The Arts Place exists to connect the creative community of Queenstown and Wānaka with audiences, students, teachers, spaces and each other. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and inspired by local arts and culture.
Wakatipu High School's annual Big Break event on Saturday 16th May 2026 at the school theatre.
This is an opportunity for bands, solo/duo acts and singers to perform with all the gear and support in place. It's a great way for musicians of all ages to connect and gain some performance experience and is a useful lead into the upcoming Rockquest event.
We welcome friends, family and the community to come and support the students.
