Te Wāhi Toi/The Arts Place exists to connect the creative community of Queenstown and Wānaka with audiences, students, teachers, spaces and each other. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and inspired by local arts and culture.
Please join us to celebrate a wonderful collection of artworks created by Wakatipu High School students at the SHOWING OFF - Senior Art Exhibition.
SHOWING OFF is an exhibition that features a collection of Paintings, Designs and Photographic work. The work has been selected based on last year’s external folio exam grades and all the students in this exhibition received Excellence for their final submissions in 2024. The exhibition will run from 1 August until 31 August at the Lakes District Museum & Gallery in Arrowtown.
All artworks will be eligible for prizes with one for each discipline. These are “People’s Choice” awards and the winners will be contacted after the exhibition ends. Trinity Construction & Projects has been generously sponsoring the prizes for this event and we thank them for their continued support.
The Lakes District Museum & Gallery also continues to support us with providing a professional space for our students to exhibit their work. We thank them for the curation of this event and their continued appreciation for the arts at Wakatipu High School.
