A country, a culture, a town, a person – all have foundations, all have history and are built on those that have gone before.

‍Rise and fall and rise again, create and demolish and rebuild.

 We have an insatiable thirst for re-invention, we incessantly strive to improve. But while we build ever “onwards and upwards”, do we remember to acknowledge those that enabled us to grow? Are these improvements a genuine desire for authentic “better”, or are we at the end of it all, too often ego-based; and with what consequence?

Foundations looks at the ever-evolving growth of Wānaka in the context of both urban and personal development through expressive and dynamic movement.
