Set in 1960s Liverpool, Blood Brothers follows the lives of Mickey and Edward — twin brothers separated at birth and raised on opposite sides of the social divide. One grows up in poverty, the other in wealth, yet fate leads them to cross paths as childhood friends, unaware of their true connection. As they grow older, the truth unravels, and the consequences are deeply moving.
With stirring songs, emotional depth, and sharp storytelling, this unforgettable show explores love, loss, class, and destiny — all delivered with heart and humour.
This marks the debut production from Onstage Wānaka, a new community theatre group dedicated to creating exciting performance opportunities in the Upper Clutha region.
