Te Wāhi Toi/The Arts Place exists to connect the creative community of Queenstown and Wānaka with audiences, students, teachers, spaces and each other. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and inspired by local arts and culture.
Operating from a former chapel built in 1871 and located in Arrowtown’s Heritage Precinct, the gallery presents a diverse programme of exhibitions and offsite projects by national and international artists, working across critically-engaged and innovative practices.
Pedestrian access to the gallery is via Romans Lane.
