Te Wāhi Toi/The Arts Place exists to connect the creative community of Queenstown and Wānaka with audiences, students, teachers, spaces and each other. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and inspired by local arts and culture.

Chrissy Wickes is an artist living in beautiful Wānaka. She is both a practicing artist and an art facilitator, working with youth and adults. It gives her great joy supporting others on their creative journey. Printing and painting are her current art passions. Chrissy has painted murals throughout the streets and schools of Wānaka. Off canvas art always excites her. Having visited many remote wild places throughout her conservation career, her art is often grounded in nature. The land we live in is a recurring theme.
