Te Wāhi Toi/The Arts Place exists to connect the creative community of Queenstown and Wānaka with audiences, students, teachers, spaces and each other. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and inspired by local arts and culture.

The Mountain Remembers invites artists to explore place, time, memory, and transformation.
Geological time. Personal and collective memory. Environmental change. Whakapapa. Myth. Resilience. The quiet persistence of landscape.
Works may respond literally or metaphorically — to mountains, to landforms, to enduring presences, or to the act of remembering itself.
Artists are encouraged to take an open approach.
