Te Wāhi Toi/The Arts Place exists to connect the creative community of Queenstown and Wānaka with audiences, students, teachers, spaces and each other. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and inspired by local arts and culture.

Join award winning playwrite Julian Noel as he presents some of his raw, funny and entertaining spoken words set to a backdrop of the improvisational genius of Mark Wilson and Pania Witoko. Mark Wilson, no stranger to the Tiny Room Concerts, does to the piano what Picasso does to the canvas. Pania Witoko brings to life the authenticity of Julian's stories with Taonga Puoro (traditional Māori musical instruments) carrying the ancient sounds of this land into now.
In the spirit of the speakeasy, beat poetry, slam poetry and every basement art venue, this is a one-time merging of three unique and noble artists, with stories to tell.
