Te Wāhi Toi/The Arts Place exists to connect the creative community of Queenstown and Wānaka with audiences, students, teachers, spaces and each other. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and inspired by local arts and culture.
LandK Art was created by Luigi Agnelli, from Arezzo in Italy and Kate Bray, from England. They met by chance at Luigi’s first exhibition and soon began to draw together. Self-taught, they developed a unique style of drawing using fine ink pens.
Two hands, two minds, two souls united on one piece of paper.
After Luigi’s untimely death in 2023, Kate continues to draw in their unique style, with the couple’s signature, ‘the black and white cats’, always looking on.
Opening starts at 6pm on Thursday January 30th - this is a free event, all are welcome. Light refreshments will be provided.
Exhibition runs from Thursday January 30th to Sunday March 9th, 2025.
