Creative & Culture Hui: Queenstown & Wānaka

This June, creatives, cultural leaders, businesses, and community groups are invited to Te Muka Toi | Te Muka Tākata — a new creative and cultural hui happening 12–15 June in Queenstown and Wānaka.

What's on:

Thursday 12 June — Queenstown

Dive into the creative economy —and discover how creative innovation is reshaping our region.
Plus: A Creative Showcase at Frankton — will spotlight local projects that merge creativity, technology and business impact.

Friday 13 June — Wānaka

Get hands-on with practical workshops that will equip creatives with practical tools for success.
The afternoon will feature a Creative Speed-Dating session — connect with venues, space owners, and new collaborators!

Saturday 14 June — Te Atamira, Queenstown

Saturday's sessions at Te Atamira in Queenstown continue the momentum, empowering creatives with workshops designed to equip artists with practical tools and fresh inspiration in their creative process.
That night, head to Country Lane School House Studios to meet local residents and celebrate creativity together. 

Sunday 15 June

The hui concludes on Sunday with open studios and cultural heritage tours across the district.
