Te Wāhi Toi/The Arts Place exists to connect the creative community of Queenstown and Wānaka with audiences, students, teachers, spaces and each other. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and inspired by local arts and culture.
With a voice reminiscent of Joni Mitchell, Billie Holiday and Grace Slick, van Riel draws inspiration from her vintage record collection and a childhood spent with guitar-clad folkies around the bonfire.
Anna van Riel is based in Lake Hāwea where she lives with her husband & 2 children. Tucked in a secluded valley, van Riel passionately grows food, and runs her vocal coaching practice Nook Road Productions.
With her band of wiley musicians in tow, join Arts Central and the Bannockburn Coronation Hall for an enchanted evening of music and connection.
