Celebrate 20 Years of Art in Wānaka

Set in the beautiful surrounds of Wānaka, the Craigs Aspiring Art Prize celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2027, marking two decades of showcasing outstanding contemporary art from across Aotearoa New Zealand while supporting the students and community of Holy Family Catholic School.

Held at the school, this nationally recognised annual art award brings together an exciting collection of contemporary works by artists from around New Zealand. All exhibited artworks are available for purchase on Opening Night and throughout the exhibition, offering art lovers and collectors the opportunity to discover and own original New Zealand art while supporting a great local cause.

All proceeds raised from the event go towards supporting the children of Holy Family Catholic School, helping the school continue to provide opportunities and resources for its students.

Craigs Investment Partners proudly sponsors the $20,000 winning acquisition prize, with additional prizes generously supported by local businesses and members of the community.

The event opens with a vibrant Opening Night (8th Jan 2027) followed by a three-day public exhibition (9-11 Jan 2027, 10am - 4pm daily) giving art lovers the chance to experience an inspiring showcase of work in person.
