Finding a good creative space can sometimes feel like hunting for a unicorn - magical, but rare. So, when property developers step up and make existing spaces available for the wider community to gather, imagine, and make, it’s worth celebrating.

That’s exactly what’s happening at Country Lane, where The Assembly Room, part of the School House Studios, is now open for community and creative bookings. This 80m² gem, flooded with natural light from its original schoolhouse windows, has been a home for creativity for the past year, and is now welcoming others to make it their own.

It’s perfect for workshops, classes, meet-ups, or just getting people together to share ideas. With its open-plan layout and affordable hourly rate, it’s designed to be accessible and welcoming.

“Whether it’s a craft class, a community meeting, or a skill-building workshop, The Assembly Room provides a welcoming backdrop that encourages creativity and collaboration,” says Country Lane’s Operations Manager, Annika Grant. “It’s about giving people a place to create, share, and be part of something bigger.”

Bookings are now open. To find out more or arrange a visit, contact Annika Grant at [email protected].
