Te Wāhi Toi/The Arts Place exists to connect the creative community of Queenstown and Wānaka with audiences, students, teachers, spaces and each other. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and inspired by local arts and culture.
Our primary goal is to promote and support the art and science of photography as a means of creative expression achieved through awareness, education and participation. We strive to provide an enjoyable and stimulating forum through which members can receive practical information to help improve their technique, develop their artistic vision, share ideas and keep pace with industry trends.
We welcome both amateur and professional photographers. Our club nights are held on the first Monday of the month and we organise regular photography field trips around the Queenstown area.
