Te Wāhi Toi/The Arts Place exists to connect the creative community of Queenstown and Wānaka with audiences, students, teachers, spaces and each other. We are a not-for-profit organisation powered by Three Lakes Cultural Trust and inspired by local arts and culture.
Onstage Wānaka Inc. are pleased to announce the commencement of a new theatrical society in Wānaka.
Onstage Wānaka has been incorporated to develop theatrical opportunities for the local community to participate in and attend. Our current focus is musical theatre, with our inaugural show opening at the Lake Wānaka Centre in August 2025.
Our company is led by president Lisa Clough, secretary Andrea Beryl and treasurer Geoff Hadden, alongside committee members Janine Weatherly, Charlotte Palmer, Alan McArthur, Sarah Hambrook and Jennie Lyall.
We will be holding a society launch at the Armstrong Room, Lake Wānaka Centre on Wednesday 12 March, 7:30pm . We will share our society’s visions and aims and announce our inaugural show to be staged in August.
