Kelly Pearce is a Queenstown-based contemporary landscape painter working mainly in oil.
Working in abstract and semi-abstract style, predominantly with landscape as her subject. Her work is often interpreted, simplified, and sometimes more literal -reminding the viewer of someplace, sometime they feel connected with, without being directive. Her expressive style has been described as uplifting.
Kelly now lives full time in Queenstown, working from her new studio in Frankton, viewings by appointment. She also works winters as a ski instructor and concierge at Coronet Peak.
Paintings can be viewed on her website at kellypearceart.nz and also at The Artist's Room Gallery, Dowling St Dunedin. 03 474 1111 theartistsroom.co.nz
