Hi there! My name is Chris Chase, and I am an American expat photographer, videographer, documentary filmmaker and educator (primary trained) based in Frankton.

I wear many hats as an entrepreneur, but I started my photography business in 2021 after spending nearly 6 years as a primary school teacher across New York City and New Zealand schools from 2016 to 2021.

I am passionate about teaching, the greater outdoors and creating relatable and impactful HERO content that "captures the human connection."

I started my photography business focused on adventure sports and tourism, and quickly grew into servicing the larger commercial market, helping businesses of all sizes design HERO marketing content for their advertising and marketing campaigns, websites, social media etc.

I now focus on photography and videography in the following areas:

-Events (corporate)
-Weddings

I am a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in NZ, Queenstown Business Chamber, AIPA (represents commercial/advertising photographers in NZ), and a shareholder in Truestock (kiwi stock imagery company).
