Help the Frozen Ferns; New Zealand's national ice swimming team, as we take on a thrilling challenge at the World Ice Swimming Championships in Italy coming January 2025! To support our journey, we're launching a fundraiser evening that kicks off with the premiere of Freezing for Fun; an exclusive 10-minute movie about ice swimming made by Marijn Wouters (unpackhere). This film dives into the world of icy waters, showcasing the determination and passion for the sport of Lucas, Bethany and Anneke; the three local QT'ers who joined the NZ nationals in July this year.
In addition to the premiere of the ice swimming movie, we’ll also feature a selection of other exciting swim-related films—all screened at the swimming pool in Queenstown's Event Centre! The evening kicks off at 6 pm and wraps up by 8 pm, and your ticket includes pool entry, snacks, drinks, and of course some incredible movies. It’s the perfect opportunity to not only enjoy a fun night out, but also dive deeper into the world of ice swimming.
So bring your togs and jump in the water for this exclusive event! Experience the films from the pool itself and be part of something truly special. Help support the Frozen Ferns and enjoy a fun evening of swimming, movies, and community.
Your contribution will help us make waves on the world stage, so don’t miss out on this unique event!
